About The Smith

The Smith is an extremely popular casual neighborhood brasserie – in fact, several of our locations are among the Top 100 busiest restaurants in the US! The menu features bistro classics, seasonal fare, and craft cocktails. Our signature lively atmosphere makes The Smith a versatile setting for an after-work bite, drinks on the town, a birthday bash, a working lunch, a bountiful brunch, or an I-don’t-want-to-cook-tonight night.

The Position: Receiver

Receivers are responsible for receiving all food & beverage deliveries to the restaurant; counting, verifying, and signing packing slips with invoices produced by the leadership/chef team. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Unpack and store new or transferred food & beverage products
• Receive, count, verify, and sign corresponding package slips and invoices
• Note and communicate shortages, overages, and damaged product
• Organize and maintain a clean and sanitary receiving area
