The Position: Operations Systems Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
Systems & Tools Management
- Serve as the primary system manager for the profit management platform, managing user access, permissions, and system configuration across all restaurant locations.
- Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of all module,s including purchasing, inventory, recipe costing, waste tracking, and invoice processing.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency by performing regular audits and reconciliations.
- Train restaurant and corporate staff on best practices for using the profit management platform, including inventory management, recipe entry, and vendor ordering workflows.
- Monitor and analyze system-generated data (e.g., theoretical vs. actual food cost, waste reporting) to identify trends and support strategic initiatives.
- Manage POS system configuration, including menu and item setup, user permissions, troubleshooting, and support for restaurant teams.
- Create and maintain documentation and SOPs related to system processes, ensuring consistent usage and compliance across all locations. Provide training and support to restaurant managers and staff as needed.
- Act as the main point of contact for systems-related support, troubleshooting system issues, and escalating technical problems as needed.
- Collaborate with systems account representatives to optimize system usage, roll out new features, and implement updates or enhancements.
- Customize dashboards and reports within systems to align with operational KPIs and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Operational Insights & Cost Management
- Utilize data to support decision-making and system development for operational improvements.
- Extract and analyze data from multiple sources to assess sales trends, ROI on projects, G&A spend, and key operational metrics.
- Prepare and distribute performance reports to senior management.
- Provide support to other corporate departments for data analytics and reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between restaurant managers, corporate operations, and finance to drive process improvements and ensure alignment.
- Assist in managing third-party delivery platforms and supporting revenue center operations.
- Contribute to vendor management and product sourcing efforts to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply chains.
What Makes You Great:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in operations analysis or systems analysis —preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry
- Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Experience with restaurant systems such as POS, inventory, and profit management tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and aptitude for problem-solving
- Experience with system implementation projects or process improvement initiatives is a plus
- Competency in understanding and analyzing standard financial statements
- Effective communicator who excels at conveying complex information clearly
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
